Art and Entertainment Law Practice Area on Probono.net
In 2005, VLA launched a new art and entertainment law practice area. Probono.net, a nonprofit organization, has a mission of increasing access to justice through innovative uses of technology and increased volunteer lawyer participation. There are now nearly 20,000 registered users of the site. Nearly 70% of these users are volunteer lawyers from private law firms, both large and small. Most of the largest firms in the country 98 out 100 have volunteer lawyers using probono.net.
To join the practice area, simply go to www.probono.net/ny/artlaw and click on “Join this Area” on the left-hand side. Fill out the form and select your own password. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive a confirmation email from VLA Staff.
